The Campbell guys gather at a bar to drink and discuss their individual and mutual losses. Bob is nauseous, (in the truest sense of the word) but Jodie claims that no one and no thing can make him throw up. Tim returns home to Corinne after shopping for a cave; Tim has decided to become a hermit so he can make peace with God. Eunice and Dutch are happy together, living at the farm; on Eunice's birthday, the police crash her party. To protect her, Dutch tells the police Eunice is his hostage. Jodie goes atop the Triboro Bridge to think; he meets a lesbian bent on suicide and talks her (Alice) into going for a cocktail with him. During breakfast at the Tates' house, Mary appears with her luggage, wanting to stay, and Eunice also returns home. Corinne comes downstairs, looking very pregnant. Billy gets angry at having to schlep luggage. Corinne begins going into labor and Benson takes charge. Det. Donahue, who is also present, is the only one who concentrates on breakfast.
