Very ABC Melodrama
enzoratti11 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I liked Robert Urich in Vegas, but this show is so cheesy 80's, it's a little annoying. The narration was a Magnum thing, so not really liking that part. Women need to be saved and throw themselves at Spenser for either gratitude or vulnerability, very ABC back in the day. This is the second time this season that Spenser has kissed a woman, without telling his girlfriend. And this reporter character doesn't even seem apologetic to her friend Suz. She just lamented on how sad it is to be 39, and nearly losing her job. And Susan is so understanding, doesn't even bat an eyelash. Lame.. I like how Hawk is more of a loner, and doesn't need all this melodrama, but i'll get through the short series, and look forward to A Man Called Hawk.... 40 years later...

Hell Hath No Fury

Warning: Spoilers
An irate father disrupts a convention fair with a gun as he wants a construction firm investigated that build shoddy housing. One of them collapsed and killed his son.

The father is shot dead but Spenser wants to investigate. One man did got to jail but it smells of a cover up.

Spenser teams up with a renowned television journalist to see if the building samples were tampered with.

It is not long before Spenser realises that when you deal with construction, you deal with the mob.

Linda Thorson, a one time Avenger with Patrick Macnee plays the journalist.

You do wonder just how shoddy the investigation was as the seal to pass the samples was from a man who died years ago.
