- In a last ditch effort, O'Neill activated an Ancient weapon in the Antarctic to defeat Anubis. With Jack still in stasis in the Ancient outpost buried in Antarctica, SG-1 tries to contact the Asgard. Meanwhile their new leader, Dr. Elizabeth Weir, tries to decide what to do about a request for peace talks from the Goa'uld System Lords.—trekkie4christ
- Anubis has been defeated but Jack O'Neill remains frozen in the Ancients' outpost they discovered in Antarctica. Elizabeth Weir authorizes Sam and Teal'c to go off in search of the Asgard. Their exact location is unknown but when they do finally manage to contact Thor he is having to deal with a much greater problem: the Replicators have managed to escape their time-locked prison and Sam is soon taken prisoner. Back on Earth, Elizabeth and Daniel act as hosts to a number of system lords who have suggested a peace treaty. Ba'al is not among them and it soon becomes clear that those who are want Earth to use the weapon that defeated Anubis to eliminate Ba'al before he defeats them. Elizabeth proves to be an adept negotiator.—garykmcd
- The SG-1 tries unsuccessfully to contact the Asgard to rescue and save O'Neill. Carter and Teal'c decide to use the Tel'tak modified by O'Neill since they are not allowed to use the Stargate for political reasons. Daniel stays at the SGC in case they fail in their travel, since he would be the only one that could help O'Neill. Daniel receives a message from the Goa'uld Camulus, requesting a meeting between the System Lords and the Earthlings. What is the objective of the System Lords? Meanwhile, Carter and Teal'c find that Hala's sun has become a black hole and they are stalled by the gravitational forces. When there is a breach in the hull, they are beamed out by Thor to his spaceship. They learn that the Asgard created the black hole expecting to destroy the Replicators, but a large block of Replicators form a ship and flee, while another block attacks Thor's spaceship. Carter is beamed out by the Replicators that head to Orilla, the new Asgard planet that is rich with Neutronium, essential to duplicate the Human Replicators. How will the Asgard stop the Replicators?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Neither Daniel's reason nor Carter's implied technology blackmail can convince Dr. Weir or Washington to allow using the Prometheus just to rescue O'Neil, fearing another Goa'uld attack by Anubis' would-be successors. Only Sam and Teal'c are ultimately allowed on a mission to contact he Asgard, who may help with both problems, but the gravity from a black hole they landed near, which should have been a normal star, would have been fatal except Thor beamed them aboard his Asgard ship to discuss the Replicators having got hold of the time device and are about to escape with extra power. SGC receives Camulus heading a delegation of system lords requesting an alliance to prevent a rival from seizing Anubis' legacy. Carter is beamed away by the Replicators, facing Fifth, whom she betrayed earlier.—KGF Vissers
