  Lt. Rod Blake : Oh, hello. I'm Rod Blake, chief investigator for the Nevada state troopers. You know progress keeps the mapmakers busy. Here's an early map that was published not long after Nevada became a state. There's an area here marked "Indian land" that you won't find on maps of today. An act of Congress granted the Indians a different area and the maps had to be changed... but changes are made more easily on paper than with people, especially when the change means to die. You'll hear of an unusual fight for survival in a story called "Lonely Valley".
