Alien Country is a run of the mill streets of the San Francisco episode. Well there is an Illegal employment raid when there still was more strong enforcement back in the 70s. We got a murder and the case heads out to Wine country. Local getting under cut, and the Sheriff has to deal with angry residence and the underground economy. There is the nice guy illegal alien working for the family, and the dangerous coyote. Of course a social message, mixed with all ends tie together climax. Has a 1970's run of the mill fashion. So predictable Alien Country put me to sleep the final 5 minutes. Meh 6 stars.

Rudy Costa, an illegal alien is wrongly suspected of murder.
A very good Season 4 episode, Rudy is played by A Martinez, his third and last appearance on the show. The real killer is Montoya, who sells forged green cards to illegals. He is played by Henry Darrow, best known as Manolito on High Chaparral. Another guest actor is Bruce Glover who had appeared in the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever in 1971. Stone and Keller search for Rudy but have a hard to getting info since others are afraid of deportation.
