Four convicts, Washington, Telson, Kraft and Kimberly are going to a high school to speak to the students. Kraft sees a man with a gun, he takes it and uses the guards with them as shields. Later one of the guards tries to take them but is shot. Stone and Robbins arrive and learn that Washington and Telson only had a year or two left to serve while Kraft and Kimberly have longer sentences. Later the car is found and the other guard, Sgt. Mack is found. He tells them that Kraft and Kimberly are probably working together because Kimberly has some money stashed out of the country and Kraft is out to get the one who's responsible for his arrest and conviction. Washington is a druggie who's going to try to score. And Telson is going to locate his wife who stopped visiting him and answering his mail. Mack offers to help but Stone says they can handle it. But Mack feeling that they used him to escape sets out to find them himself. He finds Washington who runs and gets hurt. Stone warns Mack to back off. But when Kraft goes to the man who turned him in, Mack again shows up and shots are fired and one of them escapes.
