Near the beginning, Dani tucks a snub nose revolver in a holster into her left boot, with the butt of the gun sticking out of the boot. After the camera angle changes, the gun is no longer visible, yet Dani has it later when she confronts the gun thug on the bus.
After firing a weapon and killing a suspect, Det. Starr would not be back to work the following day as was shown. Officers involved in shootings such as these are placed on administrative leave for at least a few days.
When Dani finds Sgt. Hooker tied up/gagged in the closet, she appears to be genuinely shocked. This reaction goes against everything she knows; that Hooker was helping her work against Gable, the multiple warnings that Gable was after him, the threats Gable made against his life, and the fact that Hooker suddenly vanished out of the blue and without a trace. It shouldn't be surprising Gable tied him up.
