- The others all react tepid, except Kitty, when Fez reminds them that the next day is the spring musical he has been preparing for enthusiastically for weeks. To rub insult to injury, the gang says that they are very tired from a party they attended the previous night. Fez knew nothing about this party and was not even invited to it. One girl took her top off, and Smokey the Bear also attended.
In his innocent dream, Fez is a real star, and everybody gets his or her place. Fez is the center of attention, while the entire gang is part of the show. But in reality, his music teacher, Mr. Wilkinson (Roger Daltrey), punishes the eager beaver for 'imitating my accent' by putting him on the last row, with losers and ugly kids. Mr. Wilkinson says that Fez lacks the passion and commitment for music and says that Fez simply has an ugly voice.
Nothing can get Fez's spirits down as he eagerly awaits the arrival of his friends to his special event. Fez imagines himself living in the same house with Kitty and Red as his parents, and Hyde and Eric as his brothers. Fez imagines them as being one big happy family.
The big day looks like it's a total bummer. Bob walks in and tells Fez that his friends are hanging around in the basement and will not be coming to the show. Fez is disappointed and hides his anger in front of Kitty and Red. Fez imagines his friends sitting around in a pot circle without him, making fun of his accent, and saying that they enjoy the circle more with Fez. He also imagines that the gang does not consider him their friend at all, and don't care for his feelings. They even sing a song without him.
Fez imagines that Eric is still depressed about his breakup with Donna and cannot get over himself. Similarly, Jackie, Kelso and Donna are also focused on their own problems. The 2 couples also sing a ballet about how love hurts.
Leo makes it to Fez's event and points out that Fez's friends have not yet arrived. Fez imagines himself being all alone. Fez is about to leave, when the gang shows up and tells Fez that they have already TP Mr. Wilkinson's house and have put extra dog poop in his front yard and stole his mailbox. Mr. Wilkinson is British and hates all things American. When he sees Fez with his mailbox, he curses the whole gang that they will simply waste their entire lives sitting in their Barcaloungers.
To Fez, his friends mean more to him than anybody else in the world. This night would not mean anything to him without his friends. Red begs them never to leave Fez alone with him ever again. The gang breaks into a rendition of a disco song, celebrating their friendship with Fez. Fez is awakened from his stupor by Mr. Wilkinson who reminds him that Fez is now needed on the stage.
Later Mr. Wilkinson joins the gang in the basement for their pot circle. Turns out he loves the cheeseburgers.
