Charlie and the children
salgonjulien4231 May 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This twenty-fourth and last episode of the first season stands out as being easily one of the best. Nevertheless the idea of departure is rather simple (Charlie who wants to be made a vasectomy) but she(it) is exploited(run) completely and effectively. Jake is particularly funny here because he is always out of step with the reality. Charlie Sheen is also in great form with its caustic, cynical retorts. This final episode leans on funny, hilarious situations in their incongruities.

We are also conquered by the wholesome freedom of speech of the set(group) with a humor friendly trash which settles only few limits. In summary a very good solid episode not the best step but to see again(to revise) with pleasure regularly because no scene(stage) is low(weak) and it is thus conquered that we stop seeing this first season (one of the best of the sitcom).

Doctor

Larry Miller would've been perfect in the role of the doctor, totally his comedic style. Just sayin.

Masterpiece

Greetings from Lithuania.

The very last episode of season of "Two and a Half Men" is a pure masterpiece - in its own way. This is definitely one of the very best episodes this show has ever produced. I saw every episode (except for the last season without Charlie, but that is a whole other story), but this first season is the reason when first time seeing it i did cried my asx off from laughing - it was a literally the best humor i have ever encountered in a TV sitcoms (and ye, i did saw one or two "Friends" episodes) - there is not other show with its perfect dark humor like this one.

Kudos to all involved into making this show and especially its early seasons. There will never be a central hero like this, who perfectly captured THE MAN - everyone of us once dreamed of becoming one.

"Two and a Half Men" IS THE BEST. EVER.

End of series 1 for the two and a half men
studioAT31 March 2017
After a few dodgy episodes the first series of the show rounds off on a high with this series finale.

It's a good episode, without being great though, and manages to combine the main and secondary characters well. Holland Taylor's character is as annoying as ever.

There were some dud episodes along the way, that's the same for any new sitcom, but on the whole this episode is a good example of all that was good about year one of 'Two and a Half Men'.

There were a few more sex gags littering the script by this stage though. A sign of what was to come perhaps.
