The local community theatre is putting on a new play that Annie has written which Valerie is going to direct.
An okay episode, not bad but not that great. Kim Ulrich plays the "famous" local weathergirl who is cast as the play's leading lady. Bumping out Mrs. Poole who really wanted the part. I remember Ulrich from a short-lived soapy drama about nurses in the late '80s called NIGHTINGALES. If I recall, her boss was played by Gil Gerard of BUCK ROGERS. She is basically playing a caricature here but David has the hots for her. When Val gently criticizes, Ulrich quits the play. Will Mrs. Poole get her chance after all?
Funniest part is the way Annie gets her back up when Val is talking to Ulrich on the phone.
