After David saves the life of a teacher by performing CPR, he gets a new outlook on life, until the teacher dies in the hospital; Mrs. Poole plants a new garden for the Hogans after her dog digs up their old one.
Sandy is seen leaving for an out-of-state baby shower at the beginning of the episode, so it's Michael who has to impart wisdom to David when his newfound faith in God is shaken. It's an okay episode, but not great. The funniest part is when Mrs. Poole insists on not being paid - then keeps waiting for Michael to grease her palm over and over.
Richard McKenzie, who plays the ill-fated teacher Mr. Baker, showed up as Jan's Dad on IT'S A LIVING this same season in 1987-88. 7/10.
