This Voyagers story brings Bogg and Jeffrey to New Orleans and the Omni isn't
the only thing red. British troops are occupying the city and Andrew Jackson has
lost the battle of New Orleans because Jean Lafitte brother of prominent New
Orleans baker Pierre Lafitte who got hanged for piracy back in 1798 in Nassau
in the Bahamas.
Now we know what went wrong with history and it's off to Nassau and 1798 to prevent Jean Lafitte from being hanged. In order to do that they have to prevent him from being shanghaied on to George Innes ship.
Doing the shanghaing are a couple lovely pirate groupies played by Andra Akers and Tricia O'Neill. Lafitte is played by James Carroll Jordan. Akers and O'Neill are deadlier than the male.
Lance LeGault makes an impressive Old Hickory. I think some of the battle scenes might be from Yul Brynner's film The Buccaneer.
Along the way Lewis and Clark get some road directions west.
All in all a good day's work for The Voyagers.
