Cooper Smith : By the looks of it, Iron Horse has picked up every renegade Indian this side of the Missouri. Maybe a scout spotted something, Chris.
Cooper Smith : I don't know where men like that go when they die, Chris, when it comes my turn, I hope I join them.
Cooper Smith : OW! What in blazes is this stuff?

Cooper Smith : That's what's gonna keep you from getting lead poisoning. That's what it is.

Cooper Smith : Well, you keep that up and I know somebody else who'll get a case of lead poisoning.

Charlie Wooster : Want a bullet to bite on? Only kidding. Relax.
Cooper Smith : I can feel it in my bones, Chris, just like Charlie's rheumatism, what is it? You believe that Lieutenant?

Christopher Hale : He said there was a bigger detachment behind him. Why would he lie about it?
Lt. Burns : Mr Smith, we weren't hurt too badly.

Cooper Smith : That was just a feel out, Lieutenant. The big show comes tomorrow.
Lt. Burns : There's enough Comanches out there to run right over you.

Cooper Smith : I think they spotted you, Lieutenant. They've been waiting for you.

Lt. Burns : Do you think I ran into a trap, Mr Smith?

Cooper Smith : it looks that way.

Christopher Hale : We were expecting a full military escort out of Fort Stock, Lieutenant, not just a handful of troopers.

Lt. Burns : I'm afraid the info I received was in error. We expected just a few discontented braves with Iron Hand. Somebody made a mistake.

Christopher Hale : A big one.
