Not a fan of bad girl stories. John Boy and Jim Bob both befriend troubled people. Not clear why Darleen Carr would be interested in a straight laced guy like Richard Thomas. Jim Bob has a pal (Willie Aames) who likes to take other's things and return them. The youngsters get caught up in Carr taking Thomas's Chemistry notes. Convoluted story redeemed by good message about importance of rules and boundaries.

If there was anybody more arrogant and rude than John boy they didn't last very long. And Richard Thomas as a ladies man.well it's as believable as his role in 'IT' as Bill Denbrough.
