This particular episode is well done because of the fact that two of the cast members who were not really lead characters carry this episode alone, which are Shirley the waitress and Dwayne...the episode is about Dwayne's father who is running for city councilman, and this episode does not have any appearances by Raj ( Roger ), Rerun, Mrs Thomas ( aka Mable ) and Dee, because according to Wikipedia, the actors Ernest Thomas ( Raj ) and Fred Berry ( Rerun ) were having some sort of dispute with their contracts. I personally believe it gave actor Haywood Nelson ( Dwayne ) and actress Shirley Hempill ( Shirley ) a fine chance to shine, but mostly, since the episode revolves around Dwayne and his political father, it gave Haywood a chance to pull this episode on his own and he does a good job for this simple but yet loveable sitcom.
