I watched this short film at the international Gijon film festival, the last day the premiere of magic mountain took place during the final gala, very interesting work, artistic and different, music and the animation move well together and the animation is quite original, its a bit like illustration in movement, looks like 2D although it has a 3D feeling in parts of it, the orchestral music is spectacular and the voice of the singer enhances it very much, overall great great work considering the very small team who created it! the meaning of the film wasn't very clear to me until i read the summary of the short film and later on watched a DVD explaining the story, basically the film shows the journey of a soul in 4 stages: cruelty, desire, loneliness and understanding; and the film has no dialogue so its the music and the movement the ones which tell you the story, i feel its easy enough to get the feeling of the 4 stages although watching the DVD one really understands the little details behind the work which are hard to catch when you view the film for the first time, great work definitely
