Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The fourth season of 'Brothers & Sisters' is filled with heart-felt drama and tragedy such as Kitty finding out that she has cancer and then surviving it, Kevin and his husband trying to have a baby through surrogacy and Ojai going through an economic tumble forcing the family to sell the legacy but only to find out that Mr Walker has left them another piece of land that may potentially be another goldmine for them. However, the series ends with the family meeting a terrible accident, one that may be fatal to Kitty's husband.
- This season contains issues revolving around a married, gay couple; Kevin and Scott, who are trying to adopt a child through foster care, after their failed attempts at surrogacy. The adoption is encouraged and supported by their family, and this develops episodically throughout the season. Eventually, the child's brother who has been in the army returns to petition for her custody as he is not in favor of Kevin and Scott's lifestyle but his appeal is denied by a judge who rules in favor of Kevin and Scott.
