- Robert is still recovering from his bull accident. He finds out he has to stay 3 more weeks with Frank & Marie before moving back to his apartment. He is cranky and taking it out on everyone. Debra tries to make his birthday festive.
- Still recuperating from his recent run-in with a bull, a cantankerous Robert is driving everyone crazy with his mean-spirited and nasty behavior. When Robert is told by his doctor that he will need two more weeks of convalescing at his parents' home before he can return to living on his own, everyone figures that's the reason for his foul attitude. But Debra gets to the heart of the matter when, playing amateur psychiatrist, she uncovers the real reason behind Robert's cruel conduct.
- Marie and Frank are always making fun of Robert. Marie has no boundaries with Robert and mothers him on every little thing, including whether he is wearing clean underpants.

He hides the TV guide, wears old dirty underpants and has been told by his doctor that he will take 3 more weeks to heal. Marie and Frank complain to Ray about Robert's behavior in the house. They say that Robert has stopped exercising as well and he just sits around the house insulting them. He told Marie that her pancakes were dry and told Frank that he smelled like a Billy goat. They want Ray to speak to Robert. Ray tells Robert to cut Marie and Frank some slack as they mean well. Robert calls Ray a poodle of mom and dad. He also adds that Ray was the first one to make fun of his injury and says that Ray gets pleasure out of the misery of other people. Marie and Frank tell Robert to move back into his own apartment and he does.
Debra was planning a birthday party for Robert and now has to shift it to his apartment. Debra gathers the entire family at Robert's place to wish him. Robert place stinks as an old milk carton went bad and exploded while he was away for 3 months. Robert had lit lavender candles to hide the smell, but it was only partly effective. Debra wants everyone to be more supportive of Robert. Robert insults Debra on a birthday gift. The gift is a gym membership and Robert calls Debra miss perfect goody two shoes. She gets angry with him when Robert asks everybody to leave.
Debra says Robert likes to the play the victim and has been a victim his entire life. She says that Robert was playing the victim even before the bull incident. Confronting him about his anger she discovers some deeper issues he has with his parents. Debra says that perhaps Robert was mad to leave his parents house as he didn't seem very happy at his own apartment. She says Robert was not unhappy as he had 3 more weeks to stay at Marie's, he was unhappy as he had ONLY 3 more weeks to stay there.
Robert breaks down and calls himself a nut-job. He agrees with everything Debra says. He says that the food is unbelievable including the lasagna, or even something as simple as the cream soup. He says that Marie's cooking is the best. Debra controls Robert by saying that both of them are a little alike. Debra says that she was raised in a normal family and then she married Ray and now Frank and Marie are over all the time. One day Marie was over at their house 9 times. Debra only wonders "why her" and feels sorry for herself. To make Robert happy, Debra admits that deep down, she really likes having Marie over.
Marie asks him to stay with her again till the apartment is aired out.
