"Akumi" is a black-and-white short film from 10 years ago written and directed by Moritz Mohr. It was actually his first filmmaking effort according to IMDb. Akumi is a young Asian woman living in a post-apocalyptic scenario, in which the world is overrun by zombies. During these 8 minutes, we watch her fight for survival while we hear her voice (another actress though) telling us some general aspects about her attitude and her approach to life. She also must have some superpowers the way she jumped out of that building and landed safely on her 2 feet. But can that protect her from getting bitten in the long run? Watch this short movie and decide for yourself if you like zombie films. If not, stay away from this one here. It's not particularly memorable in my opinion.
