A young teacher goes to an inner city school to ignite young minds. Yep, it's been done dozens of times, but not like Watch Your Mouth, probably the first show to do this and long before the now cliché films that came later. While the show definitely had humor, as an 11 year old kid watching this back in the day, I would never call this a comedy. Everything from drug abuse, gangs, sexuality, and more was touched on in this show. Joe Morton as Mr. Jeter had his work cut out for him, yet as rough as it may've been, he always came down on the side of the students, even when they seemed to be on different sides. Low budget, but an excellent production. Diverse before diversity was even talked about. Definitely a show worth checking if you can find it anywhere.
