Ricardo (Dante Rivero), a doctor, married Elsa, who has a heart condition. Ricardo loves Victoria (Gloria Diaz) but did not marry her to give way to Elsa. After Elsa died, Ricardo married Victoria. To complicate things a bit, Laura (Alona Alegre) falls hard for Ricardo. Laura was once a patient, but after the doctor patient relationship ended, Laura pursued him. Ricardo avoided her and married his love, Victoria. This made Laura furious and found a way to put Ricardo behind bar (parricide). To get Ricardo out of jail, they hire Eddie Garcia, best lawyer in town. Victoria begins to doubt Ricardo. Janice de Belen, his daughter, also begins to feel negatively towards her dad. Trust Danny Zialcita for creative dialogue exchanges, fast paced story, and great actors. This one has the staple actors that regularly appear in Zialcita movies. The story becomes technical later on (courtroom scenes) but this is needed and made the movie more credible. The movie remained entertaining until the end, but I don't know if everyone will like it.
Caught this on TV and I am glad despite 30 years passing, the glossy texture was preserved. Gloria Diaz here at her prime. Good that she aged gracefully.
