This show is about Miley who doesn't want to hurt her dad's feelings so she pretends to like the birthday presents he gives her(even though she hates them).So,she ends up doing some crazy things like telling Lily to accompany her father go shopping for her birthday present.A lot of kids and teenagers can relate to this episode and will learn that we should always tell the truth in the end(like Miley ended up embarrassing herself but stuck up for her dad in the end).This show is very funny and also contains moral values of many kinds like Miley sticking up for her dad and Oliver and Lily helping Miley get away from their enemies Amber and Ashley who wanted to take a picture of Miley's embarrassing birthday present(Roxy saves the day!).

In this episode, it's Miley's birthday. She asks Lilly to talk her dad (Robbie) out of buy a un-cool outfit, as is his typical birthday gift to her. She's tired of "accidently" ruining all outfits he's bought her in previous years before Miley wears them out of the house even once, yet she doesn't want to hurt his feelings by saying that the clothes are ugly. Miley & Lilly go to the mall so that Lilly can "bump into" Robbie since they both just "happen" to be gift shopping for Miley in the same store. Miley disguises herself as a mannequin to avoid being discovered by Robbie while giving Lilly hints as to whether or not she likes the outfits Robbie considers.
