Happy days was a great show with consistently good episodes for several years straight. Sadly,this episode is not one of those good episodes. Unfortunately by the time this episode was made,the show was circling the drain. Richie Cunningham is gone,enlisted in the Marines and relegated only to being mentioned occasionally. Richie's new wife is suddenly ever-present,but she adds little to the show,as she is given nothing to work with. This episode features a truly cringeworthy singing duet with Joanie and Chachi. It is obvious that they aren't really singing most of it..and it is bad.. A very important part of show biz is the mantra ''always leave them wanting more''.. They got greedy and ignored this mantra,they stayed too long. They ran a great show into the ground because they did not want to leave the gravy train. It is often a very fine line between quitting too early and staying too long. They stayed too long.
