Another awesome episode from Series 4.

Tony is called in to assist The Police, who are investigating a very strange case, high ranking members of society, including a Bishop end Judge.

It's a great episode, it's yet another classic from this super fourth series. Another macabre story, full of grizzly deaths, secrets and lies. I was put in mind of my favourite episode of Inspector Morse, Masonic Mysteries. The ending was excellent, and unexpected.

Those opening scenes between Tony and Kurt were pretty awesome, that's exactly the way you want an episode to start, it was a huge attention grabber. The interesting dynamic between Tony and Alex continued, she's a much harder person than Carol.

We were left in with no illusions as to where Tony stood on all matters of religion.

Some amazing imagery here, the purple robes and setting for the Freemasons look pretty beautiful it's fair to say, incredibly visual. I love the look of all that ceremony. Even the images of the deaths themselves are pretty impressive, albeit incredible grizzly and macabre.

Colin Stinton and the ever wonderful Michael Cochrane were both very, very good, the latter always adds something extra to any show.

This was excellent, 9/10.

Excellent Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Tony Hill is the best non-American character created since Hellen Mirren's turn on her own long-running BBC series - the two can't compare, but the acting is both superb.

In this episode - the series of murders are tied to the FREEMASONS of the UK - cleverly executed are a series of murders that only connection is the Freemasons...and it's up to Tony's quick witted mind to put it all into perspective as only he can.

Mister Green is so perfect as Tony - you would want to work with him on an actual murder case

The use of rent-boys, murder, greed, lust, high ranking officials being corrupt to the core of their soul is brilliantly done - look for it on BBC America on Demand as the commercial version runs to 2 hours - it's much better paced without commercials...the natural flow of it all keeps your attention.
