this movie has got be one of the most twisted and unconventional Rom-Com's ever! I had no idea what to expect with this movie and was blown away by the satirical bombshell which the characters and the dialogue creates. The characters are some of the most memorable and there are too many parts to begin to choose one as my favourites. overall a nice slice of British comedy at its best. David Lumby will long be remembered as the archetypal British lout, and Doreen Lumby is excellent as his Mousey long suffering wife. The show stealing Chizzy as Doreens best friend,(see her impromptu Sex dance on learning Doreen has a date), is funny beyond all imagining. The movie centres around the Lumby's and their dysfunctional relationship on the premise of David being the most unromantic man in Britain, a role he revels in, and the journey the Documentary crew who come in to chronicle their lives take them on. A completely unexpected and wonderful movie with a dark blackly comic edge, a parody of parodies's of docu-soaps. Brilliant in a word.
