Nicht geeignet für Personen über 12 Jahren, 9. September 2010

Für manche Filme sollte es definitiv keine Destlegung der FSK sondern vielmehr eine MAG (Maximale Altersgrenze) geben. Dazu zähle ich definitiv Percy Jackson's Diebe im Olymp.

Aufgefallen war mir der Film während einer Kinovorschau und aufgrund der relativ gut gemachten Effekte (allerdings quasi ein Standard der heutige Zeit) wollte ich mir den zu Hause nach DVD Erscheinung dann doch mal ansehen. Das Ergebnis war mehr als bescheiden. Nicht nur, dass absolut die Logik im Film fehlt (Ja griechische Gottheiten tauchen natürlich mal wieder NUR in Amerika auf...), auch die Story und schauspielerische Leistung ist sehr bescheiden. Kinder, die noch so halbwegs Sesamstraße gewohnt sind oder mit Hannah Montana aufwachsen, mag das nicht auffallen, aber als Erwachsener ohne Kinder ist das ein absolutes Grauen.

Den Roman selber gelesen habe ich nicht, filmtechnisch fühlt es sich aber vergleichbar mit Eragon an. (Wahrscheinlich) ein sehr gutes Buch mit einer mieserablen Verfilmung.
