If they gave out an annual "Wrong Way Corrigan" Award . . .

Warning: Spoilers
. . . James Bond series production designer Peter Lamont probably would be a multi-time winner. (Though Peter is a contemporary to Master Corrigan, most of you may need to check the once infamous aviator out on Wikipedia if you're curious enough.) The last half of this 14-minute DIE ANOTHER DAY "Making of" mini-documentary consists of Mr. Lamont extolling Cuba as the next great tourist Mecca. "We didn't feel threatened at all," he repeats every few seconds. Problem is, the DIE crew was so UN-threatened that they decided to film all their "Cuban" scenes in Spain! Of the three alleged DIE "locations" touched upon here, Alaska also washed out as an on-screen locale. Only some "second unit" long shots in Iceland keep this "location scouting" foray from being totally irrelevant to DIE. Korea wasn't even scouted, since the Bond crew knew all along that their penchant for penny-pinching would substitute suburban London studio back lots for that Asian country. Jules Verne's hero Phineas Fogg could go around the world in 80 MINUTES, Bond style, and never lose sight of the Thames!
