  Grammi Gummi : Lands' sakes! I've NEVER seen so much laundry! Well, it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. And that someone's always me!

• Nogum , Grammi Gummi : [both singing]  With a hey-nonny-nonny and a hip-hop-hey...

  Nogum : We love to sing and dance all day!

  Grammi Gummi : We love to play and mock about!

  Nogum : We love to joke...

• Grammi Gummi : It's always 'Grammi, will you do this?' 'Grammi, will you do that?' Well, I'm gettin' plenty tired of doin' this and that, so there!

• Grammi Gummi : Nogum, you rascal! I haven't see you since I was knee-high to a water sprite! Where've you been all these years?

  Nogum : Oh, just doin' a wee bit of this and a wee bit of that.

  [leans toward Grammi] 

  Nogum : And I thought I'd drop in and see how me favorite Gummi gal was doing.

  Grammi Gummi : [laughs as she shoves him away]  Oh, stop that!

• Gruffi Gummi : That Nogum's an irresponsible nuisance. It's time you threw him out, Grammi!

  Grammi Gummi : Throw him out? But Gruffi, Nogum is my friend.

  [smiling to herself] 

  Grammi Gummi : Besides, I haven't had this much fun in years.

  Gruffi Gummi : Fun is one thing, but making a fool of yourself is another. Either he goes, or else!

  [everyone else agrees] 

  Grammi Gummi : Doh, have it your way!

• Gruffi Gummi : [looking at the mess Grammi and Nogum made in the library]  Look at this place! It's a mess!

  Grammi Gummi : [laughs]  Who cares?

• Grammi Gummi : Oh, Cubbi! Look at this mess!

  Cubbi Gummi : Sorry. Can't a bear have any fun around here?

  Grammi Gummi : Well, I'm not havin' any.

• Grammi Gummi : You know, Tummi, not everyone around here gets to have fun. Some of us have to work.

  Tummi Gummi : Yeah. I guess everyone does what they like doin' best. And since you like doin' chores... could you mend my mitten?

• Nogum : Seems to me ya have a right to a *wee* bit of fun.

  Grammi Gummi : [throws leaves on him]  You're darn right I do.

• Grammi Gummi : Over here, swifty!

• Grammi Gummi : Hey, melonhead!
