When Lt. Colonel Mitchell brings Lt. Colonel Carter coffee, he tells her they packed decaf by accident. Lt. Colonel Carter can be heard saying "D'oh", a popular Jack O'Neill catchphrase, as his favorite show was The Simpsons (1989).
While lying on stretcher and believing she may not survive, Carter tells Mitchell that there is a folder on her laptop containing letters. There is one for Cassie (Dr. Frasier's adopted daughter) and some for other people. As she tells Mitchell that the password is 'Fishing', this suggests that 'other people' includes General O'Neill, basically confirming her relationship with O'Neill, as his favorite hobby is fishing in his pond at his cabin.
WILHELM SCREAM: Can barely be heard from one of the Ori troops after they ring in from the dropped platform and Teal'c throws a grenade at them.
The shots used to depict the planet in the episode are actually shots of Earth. After the Prior fails to find Mitchell and Carter, the next shot of the Ori ship in space is over Asia Minor/Europe; with (from right to left of screen) parts of the Caspian, Mediterranean, and Red Seas visible. The last shot of the planet with the Ori ship in orbit as the village is struck are of China and Taiwan.
