Igor without the beard and hunchback.

Warning: Spoilers
If you're a fan of the old Universal horror films like me, it's difficult not to both pinpoint certain Collinsport characters to those in the movies or cast then in your mind with Universal's contact players. The creepy Willie Loomis is exactly the type of menacing Renfield/Igor like sidekick we've come to expect, doing the bidding of their "master". Right now, he doesn't have a master, just the sidekick of the unwilling Jason McGuire who simply has to put up with him, and now Roger has to put up with him as well. After subtle menacing of both Carolyn and Victoria, he begins to increase in his suspicious activity, and finally, we have something to really be spooked out about.

With this episode, the slow pacing works all the better because even though this actor playing Willie (James Hall) doesn't last long, the stage is set for what the character will become and the audience will root for him to quickly get his comeuppance even though he remains around. An unfortunate visit to the Blue Whale gives at least a little bit of saxophone music rather than the usual sad attempt at jazz music (which has haunted us since the first time this set was introduced) has Willie meeting and threatening Burke, out with Carolyn, and Willie increases his number of enemies just as Burke's are reduced thanks to the truth being revealed. Carolyn's in danger from the lecherous Willie which gives a great cliffhanger.

Incredibly menacing

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 204 is another incredibly menacing one thanks to the performance of Jason Hall as the ultra-creepy Willie Loomis, whose role seems to be to abuse and terrify all the women he comes into contact with. His scene with Carolyn is very well handled and makes for uncomfortable viewing.
