- At the end of the game one of the main characters has his own blood all over his suit.
- Most of the violence is just gun violence and giant explosions. There is very little human blood.
- One of the skulls allows grunts to explode into confetti. Many marines are killed with needlers. Few marines are stabbed. In the ending video for mission 14 of the campaign, The Arbiter is stabbed in the neck with a dagger (purple blood is visible) and then thrown off a bottomless pit.

- "ass" is used twice ,"S.O.B", and "damn" are used once.

- Some cigar and cigarette smoking but not common and definitely not graphic.

- Cutscenes are pretty violence maybe as violence as the things would see in the FPS Halo games however it is all sci-fi based violence. The gameplay is tamer however as this a strategy game.
- Intense battles.
