I saw this short some time ago on TV, and it really touched me. Being a story of a school-couple (German Gymnasium ends at about 19 y/o average) that meets again after ten years, having but one hour to regain the time lost, it does the trick to stay unpredictable and well-paced throughout. In its 45 Minutes we share every second these two have together, and we really feel the connection they once had and how close they once were to one another.
The script by Maggie Peren (who also plays Lara) - the dialogue, the moments in between, these characters - are simply said: lifelike. And director Britta Sauer really has a feel for the pacing and the emotional curve Leon & Lara are going through (and we with them).
The talented main actors - the aforementioned Maggie Peren as Lara, and Florian David Fitz as Leon, deliver the honesty of the dialogue without at all making it trivial at any time, and are very likable and believable - I'll say it again: simply lifelike.
If you understand German and ever get the chance to watch this, you won't regret it. Watch it alone, with a friend or your loved one. Leon & Lara will touch your heart and mind. They sure touched me deeply.
This is one of my favorite pieces: 10/10
