• [the boys follow Alabaster through the amber caves. Jasper sees an amber stone and picks it up] 

  Jasper Trollhound : [to Flint]  Yo, check this out.

  [He hurls the rock at the back of Alabaster's head] 

  Jasper Trollhound : Cave ogre!

  [Alabaster cries out and runs to the back of the group, diving behind a rock. He whimpers. The other boys laugh] 

  Alabaster Trollington III : For your edification, that was not funny.

  [the boys continue to laugh] 

  Alabaster Trollington III : Now stop wasting time. There's nothing scary in this cave. Nothing at all...

• Jasper Trollhound : It's too bad video games aren't like real life. In the real world, the ladies got all the spells, and all we got is ourselves. Y'all ain't that great.

  [Rock sighs] 

  Rock Trollhammer : [sarcastically]  That's, like, real fair. Lucky girls.

  Coal Trollwell : Hey, it's not their fault that they've got magic and we don't.

  Rock Trollhammer : Well, I don't care. I'm still mad at 'em.

  Jasper Trollhound : [giving Rock a fist bump]  Yo, my man, I feel your pain. It stinks the only time we get to use magic is in some lame-o game-o.
