The music is terrible, the characters are cartoonish, and some parts are cloying. Yet I can't help but love this series. It's very funny and well-timed. It has good comedy performances, particularly from Joachim Kaps and Marita Gerasch as the sexy ski instructor Hans-Günther and his beleaguered wife Susanne. Kaps, however, is one of the few actors not hamming it up like mad; he only hams it up a little compared to the rest.
