Searchlights scanning the tall building.- Wide-angle shot of the noisily-puttering car proceeding rapidly off into the distance, followed by the closeup shot of The Great Detective and his passenger conversing in the front seats, with the scenery rushing by in the background and the accompanying loud steady reassuring drone of the engine sound-effect, followed by another wide-angle shot of the car roaring away through the countryside once again, just like the sequence of Holmes and Dr. Tobel's escape in the purloined Nazi's car along the rural German byways.

Holmes's using a gramophone-recording of musical sounds to fool the villains into thinking that the "original" source of the music is still present in its expected location.
