"Water Way to Go" - After a storm rocks the beach, Gusto and Sunni are wandering in search of an inspiration for Gusto's next art piece. Distraught, Gusto finds a mermaid named Aquarianne amongst the debris. He is struck with inspiration; but Aquarianne refuses to submit to Gusto's agressive artistry. She summons her guardian, Finwithit, a giant sea beast. Gusto and Sunni drink a dose of gummi berry juice and flee, while Aquarianne realizes that Gusto was just an artist who admires the sea. She leaves to return Gusto's sketchbook. Meanwhile, Duke Igthorn spots Aquarianne in the river. He begins a scheme to capture her. Sunni is upset with Gusto as they return to Gusto's waterfall home. She wants to be sketched by Gusto, but Gusto is determined to make a sketch of Aquarianne. Sunni attempts to sway Gusto to sketch her, and accidently falls into the river only to be saved by Aquarianne a moment later. Sunni is grateful, but only because she thought it was Gusto who saved her. Aquarianne returns the sketchbook to Gusto, only to discover that it did not survive the watery journey. She apologizes, and agrees to be sketched by Gusto... who rushes to get a sketchbook, claiming he will 'capture' and 'mount her on the wall.' Sunni interprets this differently to Aquarianne, telling her that Gusto is about to kidnap her- and she flees. Gusto returns a moment later, distraught. He then chases after the mermaid. Igthorn captures Aquarianne, right before Gusto and Sunni can protect her. Igthorn then takes her to Dreadmoor. Gusto and Sunni follow, Sunni now regretful of her actions. They find Aquarianne and explain their mistake, and all seems to be well. Except that Finwithit is being summoned to attack Dunwin! They escape Dreadmoor and swim at once for Dunwin. The soldiers of Dunwin are helpless to attack Finwithit, who believes that Aquarianne is inside of the castle. With help from Gusto's bird Artie, they reclaim the signal conch and Finwithit leaves. Igthorn curses at the beast, and Finwithit sends a large tidal wave at the ogres, sending them downriver. All is saved! Sunni apologizes to Aquarianne for telling such a terrible lie, and all is forgiven. Then, at long last, Gusto gets his sketch.
"Close Encounters of the Gummi Kind" - Gusto creates a 'gummi dummy' which is designed to lure ogres away from Gummi Glen and their gummi berry bushes. Essentially Gruffy with wheels, the mechanical gummi bear rolls through the forest and indeed lures ogres... but it rolls onward and past several groups of humans as well. Gruffy is convinced that a bad idea was successful, but worries that the 'trap' might not be reset to continue luring ogres away. But now the forest is filled with humans, hoping to find their fortune by capturing a gummi bear of their own. As Gusto and Gruffy attempt to recover their invention, soon Duke Igthorn comes to the forest to check all the activity. Now everyone is searching for gummi bears, and the Glen is sealed up from the inside for safety. While hoping to return to safety, Gruffy gets captured in his own trap and is discovered by humans. Igthorn scares the villagers away, and Gusto is forced to show himself to everyone in order to rescue Gruffy. Gusto rides the dummy past Igthorn and the villagers, rescuing Gruffy and leaving the dummy behind. The villagers, soldiers and children accept the dummy as a hoax.
