This masterpiece of a comedy begins with Landlord Ken putting up a sign in the Gents telling people to stop dropping fag ends.
At the time I was working in a pub, which was similarly quiet, so this does have humour and characters that I recognise.
The observation, and the one liners are perfection. Eddie moaning on about temporary traffic lights, Phil and Nige twisting the rules, and my personal favourite part, the sniping between Nana and Winnie, I can't explain why but they aesthma pump always had me in tears laughing.
And so begins two series of the most stunning comedy.
Perfection, 10/10.
