No real story--just amazingly cool visuals!

The setting for the film is a small indoor motodrome that is built almost like half a giant barrel. Motorcyles and even a car begin around the track and they spin at an incredible rate--moving up the side of the barrel as the audience looks down into this amazing spectacle. For those who know what a Rotor is from an amusement park--it is very reminiscent of that.

This is a rather hypnotic and interesting short film. While I can't give it a really high score because there really isn't much to the film (no dialog and no plot). However, it was made very artistically in black and white and looks more like a piece of art than a "film". The movement, the shadows and the look--it's truly fascinating and unique.

The construction of motodrom . The reactions of public. Inspired black and white, reminding documentaries from "60's - "70's.

Not a plot but a special state, easy to call fascination. The motorcycles and a car , the audience and the sound.

And, maybe, few emotions lived in childhood.

Nothing special. But all admirable crafted.

Bike artistry - that's it Warning: Spoilers
In this short film here we see basically eight minutes of people on bikes in a motodrom. So they are only riding in circles and here and there show a stunt. It's a fairly boring short film and the only thing I kinda liked was the contrast between the modern technical bike noise and the retro black-and-white colors. Certainly not enough to recommend it to anybody. I guess bikers won't be interested anyway as they prefer to hear the sound of their own machines instead watching somebody else on screen riding a bike. And others (like myself) will not get into the world of motorbikes because of this short film, I'm afraid. Director and writer Jörg Wagner (well, not really much to write here I guess) hasn't worked in film in the last almost 6 years and I wonder if he will ever make another movie. Hopefully this will be improved then.
