The funniest adaptation of the Tell-Tale Heart Warning: Spoilers
This is the third animated version of the Tell-Tale Heart I have seen (The first was the UPA version from 1953 and the second was a CGI black and white version from the year 2005)

While the UPA version is still the best adaptation from an artistic standpoint, I also liked a lot this humorous (yet at the same time very faithful) take on this same story.

The black comedy elements of Edgar Allan Poe is often overlooked, but this German animation somehow managed to give a pretty wacky perspective in this horror tale without having to sanitize or change the plot in a frivolous manner.

The cartoonish, Invader Zim-esque aesthetic made it very enjoyable to watch for me, as well as the clever little background gags.

An amusing work which shows how one can adapt perfectly well a horror tale from a completely different perspective.
