Nick is holding Lofty's past activities with Nick against him, and is blackmailing him into doing something dodgy with him again. Angie tells Pete that she is worried about Lofty spending so much time with Nick, but also indicates that she fancies Nick.
At the launderette Mark tries to sell Sue some cheap cigarettes for the cafe, but she declines saying she doesnt want to get done for receiving stolen goods. Ali tells Sue that Nick is banned from the café and later at The Vic pulls Lofty aside to talk about Nick. Lofty tells him what is going on with Nick but that he doesn't want to do anything more with Nick. Ali then invites him to a meeting later on at the café.
The meeting goes ahead with Ali, Tony, Sue, Lofty, Saeed and Naima in attendance. Suddenly Kelvin bangs on the door and tells them that Nick has Mark down under the bridge and is giving him a hard time. He is right and Mark has tried to tell Nick that he doesn't want to be involved with him anymore but Nick is threatening all sorts of things. Everyone from the café approaches and Nick looks like he is going to get a good kicking. Saeed starts the ball rolling and things start to escalate just as the episode ends.
