The show opens with Kevin Sullivan and Konnan taking on Juventud Guerrera and Brad Armstrong. Mike Tenay interviews Randy Savage. Glacier faces Pat Tanaka. Harlem Heat defend the Tag Team Championship against Public Enemy. Randy Savage faces Greg Valentine, until the NWO shows up and attacks the Macho Man. From this point, the NWO takes over the show. Jim Powers is supposed to face M. Wallstreet, but the Giant takes Wallstreet's place. Hacksaw Jim Duggan is supposed to face Ron Studd, but Syxx takes Studd's place. NWO Sting faces Bo LeDuc (who?). The main event is supposed to be High Voltage versus the Amazing French Canadians, but you guessed it, the Outsiders take the Canadians place. The NWO takeover is a good angle, but it doesn't make for very interesting viewing.

Warning: Spoilers
Hour one.

Live from Cleveland, OH

Your hosts are Tony Schiavone & Larry Zbyszko

Kevin Sullivan & Konnan (W/Jimmy Hart & Big Bubba Rogers) Vs Brad Armstrong & Juventud Guerrera

Sullivan and Konnan win. Sullivan and Big Bubba Rogers attack Konnan after the match. However, it turns out it was all just a test. It was an initiation. Stuff like this is why I got turned off by WCW at times. This was absolutely ridiculous.

*

Randy Savage says he's WCW's last hope, and he's gonna wipe Hulk Hogan out at Halloween Havoc.

Chris Jericho Vs Mike Enos

Jericho wins. This actually wasn't too shabby. It's Jericho, so anything with him in it is gonna be watchable. The finish was a tad weird, though.

**1/4

Glacier Vs Pat Tanaka

Glacier wins in just over a minute with a spinning roundhouse kick. Basically, Glacier no-sells a powerbomb and then pins him. It was a squash match.

Tag Team Championship

Harlem Heat (C) (W/Sister Sherri & Col. Parker) Vs Public Enemy

Public Enemy wins the titles after a controversial ending. Well, this was a random title change, that's for sure. I don't agree or disagree with it really. It was certainly unpredictable, I'll say that. The crowed popped big for it as well. The match itself was pretty average, though.

**

Hour two.

Your hosts are Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan & Mike Tenay

"Macho Man" Randy Savage Vs Greg "The Hammer" Valentine

Valentine wins by DQ after Savage goes nuts on him with a chair. The nWo runs out after the match and absolutely decimated Savage. These two had a really good match at Wrestlemania 4, and they showed chemistry here as well.

*3/4

The nWo completely takes over the show. Not only do they decide to do commentary with Eric Bischoff, Big Show is the new ring announcer. The biggest news out of all this is Virgl debuts as Vincent as nWo's head of security. There were loud "Virgil" chants. The nWo torments Bischoff for most of the night.

Jim Powers Vs V.K Wallstreet

This match never takes place and ends in a no-contest after the nWo interferes. Randy Anderson refuses to take part in this, and Nick Patrick takes over.

The Giant Vs Jim Powers

The Giant wins in 52 seconds with a chokeslam. This is becoming too much! The nWo is cutting edge television, but its way too much here. Too much of anything is a bad thing.

Hollywood Hogan confronts The Nasty Boys backstage. He tells Knobbs and Saggs to go to Hogan's private suite and have anything they want because their pals.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Vs "Big" Ron Studd

The nWo attacks Studd, and has Syxx (X-Pac) wrestle in Studd's place.

"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan Vs Syxx

Syxx wins after The Giant chokeslams Duggan on the floor. Duggan dominated most of the match until The Giant intervened.

*

nWo Sting Vs Bo LeDuc

nWo Sting wins with the Scorpion Deathlock. Yet, another squash match. nWo Sting was a fake Sting, of course.

The Amazing French Canadians Vs High Voltage

The Outsiders come down and decide to wrestle High Voltage instead.

The Outsiders Vs High Voltage

The Outsiders dominate the match for over 10 MINUTES. What was the point of this? Even the people in the crowd were bored to tears.

DUD

I hated this episode with a passion. For the first little while, The nWo were a breath of fresh air. They were exciting and you couldn't wait to see what they'd do next. They overdid it on this episode to say the least. I just wanted them to shut up after a while. Some people might get into this, I didn't.

3/10 overall.
