An important role is played by the early Mozart opera "Bastien und Bastienne" KV 50, since two of its arias - the "Hexer Arie" and the aria "Meiner Liebsten schöne Wangen" - are adapted here (for example, for the glockenspiel). Amadeus' rival Devilius is here once again easily recognized by his personal theme, the "Phantasie für eine Orgelwalze" in F Minor KV 608. In the scenes where Devilius appears together with Rat Monti, both of them together are represented by the "Kleiner Trauermarsch" in C Minor KV 453a.
