Dr. Quin stated that she never had to depend on anyone. That is wrong. The Jane Wyman Mother gave her money to buy the building that she turned into a Clinic. She was dependent on her Mother at that time. Another example of her dependence was her tenure working for her father as a doctor. Once her father died, all the patients left. Obviously, she was dependent on her father.
Loren sells canned food in the Mercantile. The town folk were not solely dependent on what they could grow.
Dr. Quinn and Sully had a fight. Dr. Quinn allows Sully to walk away. A few hours later she is enraged that he was not at the homestead waiting to fight a fire. She is being to illogical for such an educated person.
Matthew checks the well as soon as the family returns to the homestead. This is not logical.
Sully would not have thrown that large turkey tail feather on the ground. It could have been used as a paintbrush, arrow fletching, writing quill, garment decoration, or other crafts.
Many different characters discuss the lack of rain and the lack of food. They imply that if it rains, then food will be plentiful in short order. It is fall (Thanksgiving Supper is being planned). Dr Mike's train trip home from Boston took about 4-5 days, yet her white dress, make up and cascade of pincurls are not messed up in the least.
When sully is bringing dr. Mike, Matthew, Colleen and Brian back to the homestead, Colleen can be heard excited to see her chickens. At the time she's heard saying it, her lips are not moving.
The town is Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is close to Thanksgiving. The residents of the town are in shirt sleeves in the fields and in the streets of the town. It should be cold enough to require everyone to be wearing winter coats. It is apparent that the show is filmed in a warmer location.
The entire Indian tribe arrived for Thanksgiving Supper. They brought the main dish. The turkey was still covered with feathers. It would take hours to pluck the turkey. It would take hours to roast the turkey. The Indians and the folks from the town would have eaten turkey for breakfast.
The entire Indian Tribe brings one turkey for Thanksgiving Supper. This is not enough for the tribe and the entire population of the town.
There is a drought and a food shortage. The town folk and Dr. Quinn are focused on Thanksgiving Supper. They would have been more focused on enough food for surviving the winter.
The homestead is small. Dr. Quinn's bedroom is the common room. There is no closet for all her fine clothes and hats.
When the basket of vegetables was knocked to the street, no one ran to pick up the food. Even though the shop owners were still well fed and arrogant, there would have been many other folks from the town and the surroundings eager to gather the food. They would have run and grabbed for the free fresh food.
Dr. Quinn's hair piece is a different color than her natural hair.
When Jake and Loren drive the wagon into town with the barrels of water, the water is splashing wildly. They would never have wasted water like that during a drought.
Miss Dorothy calls Dr Quinn doctor Mike. She normally calls her Michaela.
Colleen calls the chickens "her chickens". There is no evidence that she loved these barn animals in the past.
