When Harry makes a drunken spectacle of himself at the Paradise Club, he looks to Rex to provide him with an alibi. Rex claims he and Harry were not at the club because they were giving blood. Mr. Fletcher is not fooled. Harry's wife 'Jean' ( Maureen O'Brien ) is boasting to Susan about how much her husband loves her. To create some excitement in Rex and Susan's marriage, Jean sends Rex a Valentine's Day card, giving her name as 'Fluffy'Bun' ( Rex's childhood nickname for Susan ). Rex thinks the card came from 'Carol' ( Karin MacCarthy ), making Fletcher jealous. Matters come to a head at the Paradise Club...
There is more than a touch of farce about this episode. Maureen O'Brien played 'Vicki', one of Dr. Who's assistants ( back in the William Hartnell era ). Her character comes across as a big-head so its only fitting she and Harry are arguing furiously at the end.
Funniest moment - Harry is amused at the thought of Rex getting a Valentine's card...until he looks inside and recognises his wife's handwriting!
