Actually adaptaded from an hungarian novel "st.petrus umbrella" by k.miktszath-1895-and never credited by the producer- the film set up in anatolian province. There is an umbrella beleived sacred. Around the umbrella on one side there is a love story on the other side there are some greedy people who beleive that there is a testament of a rich man hidden inside the umbrella. This intrigue is surrounded comically by ordinary religious people who awaits miracles from the umbrella. Performances are hilarious, and all the story is very funny and warm. It is a very good film. And even if you are not turk, you can easily get the idea and get the warmness of the film.
