Filming for The Vial took place on August 2, 2006 and was a 14 hour shoot. Unfortunately for the actors, this was literally the hottest day of the year in Taunton,MA. Max temperatures checked in at 100 degrees with a relative humidity of topping out at 93%. With the addition of two giant halogen bulbs, this posed a rather large problem for
Robert Collins who had to wear a shirt, tie, long pants, and a doctors coat. So in order to continue filming, an air conditioning unit was installed in the room but could only be turned on between takes because of the noise and because it would cause fuses to blow when run in conjunction with the lights.
