As James and several other young soldiers are getting shots for small pox, James makes this rather peculiar comment; "imagine a world without small pox!"
As it was, there WAS a world without small pox. Native Americans, Africans, South American natives, possibly even Asians, ALL existed without benefit of small pox, but had the disease brought to them via the white men.
Thanks a lot, James.
I often think about the purity in the native American blood or even the African blood, totally devoid of the common cold. What a blessing that must have been, but then we will never know, will we?
Again, thanks, James.
