- Narrator: To law enforcement officers, the well-planned, well-executed robbery is one of the most persistent of all forms of crime, and one of the most difficult to combat. In June of last year, two masked bandits, with clever planning and meticulous attention to detail, had succeeded in committing two armed robberies in succession, and in each case had evaded the Highway patrol's encirclement of the area. The third robbery resulted in the shooting of the proprietor of a check-cashing establishment.

- Dan Mathews: Pretty. Let's go.
