"Tied to A Chair" a movie not to be missed

"Tied to a Chair" was such a pleasant surprise, since one of my favorite activities is to view small independent films that are created on such small budgets that they cannot afford to create a film of high technical production values and expensive talent.

"Tied to a Chair" is a marvelous exception to many of the mediocre independent film projects in the market, and deserves to attract much larger audiences.

Bonnie Loren, the luminous star of this production, is no stranger to the New York theatre scene. Although not previously known for her accomplishments on the big screen, Ms. Loren pulls off a comic "tour DE force" as a clueless housewife who morphs into a tech savvy, gun-toting destroyer of a New York city bound terrorist plot.

The entire cast performs extremely well under the deft direction of Michael Bergmann, who has written a clever script with hilarious twists that will make it extremely difficult to stay in your chair.

If you are in need of a good laugh, and very few of us aren't, then please get our of your dwelling and go see "Tied to A Chair".. It is one of those rare productions that I would not tire after a dozen viewings.
