A nice, little, undemanding comedy from Germany. Above all, the cast of actors is worth watching the film. Sit together with your friends and some beer and this movie is the right one.

To be honest I didn't expect much.
But it turned out to be a really good and funny movie. Especially Frederick Lau is a joy to watch.
Some great dialogues and hilarious scenes.
Yes, the story is predictable, but it's not a Shyamalan movie ;)

Tonally this is a bit all over the place. But the actors do make up for it. Maybe if you're not into Elyas (for whatever reasons), you may see that differently. If you are a fan you are already sold. In the unlikely case you are "objective" about him (at the present time that is), I am sure he will be able to sway you with his charisma and a decently written character.
It's nothing too big or surprising you'll find here. But there are nice touches and as said before the actors who really are able to turn things around. While the female lead may seem to only have a smaller part in all - she has some interesting things to do - nothing major, but at least she gets a few character traits. A nice movie overall, with a funny ending ... I reckon some saw it coming.

The State of German Comedies

I seriously question every life choice that led me to watch this garbage pile disguised as a "Comedy crime movie".
To call this movie bad would be an understatement. We have it all here: cliché romance, horrible dialog, nonsensical story, weak actors, terrible jokes and atrocious direction.
If you wonder how a script this bad is green-lighted by any Film Studio, don't ask me, I wonder the same.
But what is most baffling about all this is, that even a movie this awful has apparently a target audience that likes it. Just scroll through the reviews if you don't believe me. I must have either slept through the "good" parts or there's some hidden symbolism that was totally lost on me (spoiler: there isn't). Otherwise I can't understand how any sane person could give this movie a 7/10 or higher.
If I hadn't lost faith in humanity already, I definitely would now.

The comedy is so undemanding but also so lacking of any substance.
Another German unnecessary not funny comedy. I am native German speaker (but not German) and such movies are the reasons why everyone says Germans don't have sense of humor.
If it would be a teenage comedy it might be acceptable but otherwise just no.

Title says it all, it's nothing special, but a fast-paced, witty and colourful crime comedy, with a nice romance thrown in for good measure (which doesn't get too much screen time, just the right amount). The first few minutes (and opening credits) are slower paced to introduce the three main characters, but once the pieces are on board, the story picks up speed and, while sometimes going pretty much over-the-board, never diverges into pure fantasy - as crazy as some situations may be, the protagonists stay believable, and so we're able to stay with them. Well done!

What did they think when making this?
It just isn't funny.
The "guest" appearances of people that obviously don't act as a main income source are just annoying.
M'Barek gives it no effort at all. Not as bad as Rosinski. But I expected more.
Extremely lazy writing, boring set pieces, uninspired music, horrendous acting and no emotional depth at all fail this movie.
Lau is "alright", but that's it.
The jokes don't work at all. The comedic timing is non-existent. The cinematography is lazy. It all seems like nobody ever really gave this any effort in production.
It just sad considering all people involved had much better work in the past.

I watched the film today with my whole family and we all found it hilarious. The story is mediocre but the dialogs are the best we've seen for a long time.
It may took you 15-30 minutes to get into the film but then, there was not a single minute we didn't enjoyed the funny and intelligent (i mean obviously stupid :-) ) conversations and situations. If you like this kind humorous puns, you will love this movie.
I liked this film so much, i had to register to give it a bit fairer rating even so i didn't like german films in general.

This film deserves a 6.8 or low 7 at least. It is absurd sometimes but very refreshing. If you want to have a light but not dumb cinema this movie will do the job.
I loved the strange story and its twists. Most people will also have a great laugh, although gags are sometimes slapstick like.
Elias does a solid job. Polina is not as professional but it is not hurting the overall story.
Film location and camera are solid. Not world class but still good enough to serve as very good entertainment.
Watch this movie if you want light and easy entertainment after a stressful day. The movie will deliver.

When I first saw the film, I never thought I would like it so much. At first I thought it was just a typical German movie, in a way it is, but at the same time it stands out from the crowd with its storyline.
With a lot of humor, but also exciting scenes and a little action, the movie made it to the list of my favorite movies. The cast is great, especially since I love Frederick Lau in such funny roles, and you quickly take the characters to your heart. Definitely one of the best German films that I could watch over and over again!
